Foreign cooperation in the exploration of coalbed methane

This report is an analysis of the core content of some national production sharing contracts.With the introduction of coalbed methane sharing contract,this report points out problems in business cooperation with foreign enterprises.The non-compliance by the foreign party who emphasizes the rights while escaping the duties results in the commonly-revised longer venture prospect,business partner making profit in reselling,and the low production share of the Chinese party.These problems turn the venture prospect into a meaningless venture-free process,slowing down the whole working progress.The author proposes to regulate the foreign party in 3 aspects to promote the cooperation level and a healthy coalbed methane industry:①An overall clearing up and revision of standard contracts;②The launch of training programs of production sharing contracts;③More strict selection of business partners.
