Application of regression analysis on trace elements in Donggualin gold deposit based on SPSS

The Donggualin gold deposit is located in the north part of Ailaoshan gold belt，whose mathematical geology study is very limited.Based on geological field survey，systematic sampling and geochemical analyses of the rocks have been done for further research.The relationship between the Au variable and the rock-forming element variables is systematically studied by multivariate linear regression and stepwise regression analysis，with the help of SPSS statistical software.After that，the multivariate linear regression equation is built.Combined with the geological characteristics of the gold deposit，the elements Ni，Cu，Co，Mn，As are deemed to be close to Au，and the element anomalies of Ni，Cu，Co can be regarded as prospecting criteria for the gold deposit.
