Thinking on the service use of the fundamental database of geological drilling

The data of geological drilling is the most important information of geological work,and is of great value in the secondary development and reuse.After two years' work,the construction of the fundamental database of national geological drilling was completed.At present,how to use the database to provide service to the public becomes the major problem to be solved.Hence,this paper mainly introduces the overall design and core functions of network service platform of geological drilling,and discusses several ideas in the development of thematic service products,and also proposes the solutions and recommendations to three key issues in the networked application which include the user rights authorization,confidential information processing and the platform update and maintenance,so as to achieve social service use of geological drilling data as soon as possible.
