Application of cosmogenic nuclide ¹⁰Be in the earth sciences

Cosmogenic nuclides technique has developed rapidly and been widely used to solve problems in the Earth sciences in last few decades.This paper reviews the development of cosmogenic nuclides method,the production mechanism and the effect factors of production rate of cosmogenic nuclide ¹⁰Be.At same time,the applications of cosmogenic nuclide ¹⁰Be produced in the atmosphere and the earth's surface to the various fields of the Earth sciences is also introduced.
