Research on suitable mining techniques for sublevel caving under condition of gently inclined mid-thick ore body

    • The problem that excessive ore loss and dilution were commonly existed in many sublevel caving mines with gently inclined ore body is urgently to be solve for mine. The results of test and research in Dadingshan Iron Mine indicated that excessive ore loss and dilution in those mines can be largely reduced and the economical benefit can be increased significantly by using some new production techniques and technical measures which include blocking ore body vertically, Multiple cutoff grades for draw control, optimizing technical measures of blasting hole layout and optimization of cutting blasting parameters.
