Construction practices for ore slurry pipeline of Baiyunebo iron mine,Baotou iron and steel company

As the third iron concentrate slurry pipeline interiorly, the largest ore slurry pipeline system and include the longest water pipeline with one pump station in China, Bayan Obo slurry pipeline engineering of Baotou has been operated. It can transport 5.5 million tons of iron concentrate and 20 million m³ water per year. In order to overcome freezing temperatures and rugged terrain,many technical problems have been resolved in the period of construction.
