Abstract
First of all, this paper briefly introduces reserves of mineral resources, supply-demand of mineral resources and the status quo of trade in the North American Free Trade Area, and then analyzes the historical changes of supply and trade of mineral resources in the North American Free Trade Area since the implementation of the North American Free Trade Agreement. The study finds that the North American Free Trade Area is not a major industrial center in the world's basic minerals, and the implementation of the North American Free Trade Area has no significant impact on global trade and supply of mineral resources in the region.By studying the dependence of China's imports of mineral resources on the North American Free Trade Area from 1992 to 2015, it is predicted that the revision or abolition of NAFTA in the future has no obvious impact on the supply of mineral resources in China.By studying the number and amount of China's mining investment in the North American Free Trade Area in recent 10 years, it is concluded that the revision or abolition of NAFTA will not affect China's overseas investment.
