Supply and demand patterns of the sulfur resources in the world

China is the world's largest importer and consumer of sulfur resources presently.The development strategy of sulfur resources of our country is based on the current supply and demand situation of sulfur resources.This paper analyzed the changes of global sulfur resource production,and summarized the world's prolific sulfur production positions and prominent export areas.Then the consumption conditions of sulfur resources around the world are introduced,and the current and potential sulfur resource consumption areas are preliminary predicted.In this paper,the current global supply and demand situations of sulfur resources are analyzed based on the above evidences.The result shows that the current supply and demand pattern of sulfur resources in the world primarily consist of one consume center,three supply areas and four importers.In addition,the research also indicates that the balance between supply and demand of sulfur resources is commonly existed in the modern world and the era of oversupply of the sulfur resources is just around the corner.
