    COMPARATIVE STUDY OF PERFORMANCE OF THE CYCLONE ELECTROSTATIC PRECIPITATOR UNDER PULSE AND DC POWER SUPPLIES

    • Experiment study of the performance of Cyclone electrostatic precipitator (CESP) under different power supply conditions have been carried out. The collection efficiency and the grade efficiency of CESP under different power supply conditions have been tested at same velocity, voltage, dust concentration. Experimental results show that the collection efficiency of CESP in pulse power supply is better than that of in DC power supply, especially for grain size <2μm, grade efficiency of CESP in pulse supply is over 20% more than that of in DC power supply.
