Abstract

Based on system analysis method,the paper discusses the connotation,evolvement,structure,function and characteristics of mining area compound ecosystem(MACE)points out that the in-depth studies of MACE are the foundation of mining area ecosystem health study,which will bring active influence to mining area environment management and mining area sustainable development.
