Optimization system design and implementation of draglines stripping technology

Draglines Stripping Technology (DST for short) optimization involves many factors. Manual simulation is been used in optimization work currently. It's shortcomings are lower calculation accuracy, less programs, long design cycle and hand selection of optimization programs. So Optimization System of Dragline Stripping Technology, OSDST for short) is designed and developed according to the deposit occurrence of surface coalmines in China. Visual Basic 6.0 is used as programming language, Access 2003 as Background database and the software such as Excel 2003 and AutoCAD 2004 are integrated in the OSDST. The Significance of OSDST is to strengthen the research of DST and to offer a visual decision support tool for engineering design.
