    The mineral processing technology study on the low grade hematite ores containing high sulphur

    • Oolitic hematite from Yunnan province bearing characteristics of high content of sulphur (barite-type), low grade, fine grain, complex composition has been studied.The rough iron concentrate with recovery of 74.32% and grade of 51.21% Fe can be obtained by using Slon impulsive high gradient magnetic separator to discard tailings with the grinding fineness of 65%-0.074mm.Then the rough concentrate is regrinding down to 95%-0.074mm and is treated by reverse flotation to produce a final concentrate with the operation recovery of 79.56% and the iron grade of 59.24%, and the total recovery of iron could reach 59.13%.
