Experimental study on recovery of purity quartzite from gold tailing

The paper studies purification the quartzite of gold tailing by mineral processing according to substance of gold tailings with SiO₂ ≥ 84.5%. The experimental results show that the high-purity quartzite product containing SiO₂98.12%,Al₂O₃0.75%,Fe₂O₃0.07% and recovery of 58.77% can be obtained by classification separation highly intensive magnetic separation-flotation separation-acid leaching. This technology not only fully makes use of mineral resources, but also obtains considerably economic benefit.
