Reasonable tenure of three grade reserves has been a major problem plagued the domestic mining enterprises.This article analyzes the problem of reasonably determining the underground mine three grade reserves combined with the occurrence conditions of the ore body,putting forward the concept of effective stoping reserves to optimize the management of three grade reserves from the angle of the ore body horizontal plane function.Through the example of Jinshandian iron ore discussing the tenure of the three grade reserves not only to comply with the requirements of the stoping time and the mining sequence,but also consider the complexity of the ore body occurrence conditions.
