Coupling optimizing study on caving step and access space in Miaogou Iron Mine

Abstract
Based on the theory that draw body mostly coincides to caving body,sublevel caving step and access space of Miao Gou iron mine was coupling optimized.Combining the empirical formula of structural parameters,real volume recovery rate and dilution rate,the mathematic model of d-value of recovery and dilution was deduced,and theoretical best access space,draw body volume and quality d-value of recovery and dilution were calculated.Experiment parameters were elected according to theoretical calculation results and engineering analog method,ore drawing experiments of 1:50 scale dioramas were carried out.The experiments’ results pointed that the mathematic model was reliable and that the best caving step was about 3.6m and the best access space was between 16.5m and 17m.
