Study on ancient iron smelting relics in the south of the capital city Linzi

The investigation of iron smelting samples such as ore and slag from the south of the Capital City Linzi of State of Qi are reported in this paper.The results indicate that cast-iron smelting technology was used in these sites,and parts of slag may come from Puddling process,and then illustrate the smelting information.The age of the sites may from Zhanguo period to Han Dynasty.The ore probably come from Jinling iron mine.The smelting processes of this site are perfect.
