Literature review on the development and utilization of shale gas in America and China

The success of "shale gas revolution" in the United States has changed the worldwide thinking of new energy and renewable energy development,making the policies and social- economic impacts of shale gas being a hot spot of academic circles.By combing the existing literature on shale gas development and utilization status systematically,we found that current attentions of shale gas were paid in these aspect:①current policy system of shale gas in the United States and China;②the main problems and challenges of developing shale gas in China;③analysis on the social-economic impacts of shale gas.Based on the literature summary,we insist that much more attentions should be paid in the topic of the short term and long term social-economic impacts of shale gas in future
