Analysis and suggestions of tellurium's supply and demand of China in the future

Tellurium resources are extremely rare in the world.Tellurium reserve and yield in China accountfor 32% and 50% of the world separately.Thus,tellurium is an important strategic resource.Based onthe supply and demand of the world and the historic data of the past 15 years,this paper makes judgments of the future consumption of telluriumandpredicts the demand of tellurium in next 15years;Furthermore,it analyzes the supply and demand in China.In 2030,demand for tellurium will reach to 482 tons and compared to 2015,it will increase by 80%.Tellurium in China will change from supply more than demand to the opposite situation.Facing the verfull demand situation,it provides some suggestions including increasing the intensity of exploration and evaluation,improving the efficiency of resource,strengthening reserves,which has reference value for the safety oftellurium material supply.
