The substation communication system based on GSM and CAN field bus

This paper gives a new substation communication network used CAN field bus and short message module TC35 produced by siemens. This paper also intrudes the structure,theory, software and hardware configuration of the system. CAN field bus enhances the network's capacity, reliability, rapidity; short message realizes wireless communication of the alarming data, this supplies a new technology for the substation needed no man on duty.
