Analysison the competition of public geological work

The Introduction of competition to public geological work is a major measure to promote the reform of geological cause.According to the characteristics of geological work and the bidding management patterns of construction projects,it is important to determine the competition ways for various types of geological investigation projects scientifically and make a sound management measures and implementation rules for competitively selecting project-taken institutes.This study firstly introduced the problem and analyzed the connotation of geological work.Then we discussed the selection of competitive ways of geological investigation projects,put forward the related countermeasures for fully understanding of the importance of competition,perfecting regulations and database construction and maintenance for geological investigation projects in order to promote the market operation of public geological work and ensure the vigorous development of geological cause.
