DEVELOPMENT FUTURE OF CHINESE PETROLEUM AND GAS RESOURCES EXPLOITATION IN THE 21st CENTURY

The author is of optimistic opinion about the reserve of petroleum & gas in China.Due to existance of a lot of thick sedimentary basins from Mesozoic Era and Cenozoic Era,there must be a lot of petroleum & gas reserves in China.According to the most conservative estimate,the raw petroleum reserve in China can be used till 2063 while the gas reserve till the 22nd century.But compared with that of highly developed countries(e.g.USA),the exploration of pertoleum & gas in China is still in the early or middle stage,and the petroleum & gas industry is very young.By the help of scientific and technical progress,the pertoleum & gas industry in China will have a bright future.
