NUMERICAL SIMULATION ON THE PROGRESSIVE PROCESS OF LANEWAY FAILURE CAUSED BY LATERAL PRESSURE

    • By using RFPA2D,which is developed at Center for Rock lnstability and Seismicity Research of Northeastern University, authors simulated the progressive process of laneway failure caused by lateral pressure, knew well the stress distribution of rock wall and nolinear progressive fracture.Firstly, tensile cracks took place in the left side of the laneway arch,as well as in the right side of the laneway bottom. After it had taken place, stress concentration will died down.Stress field will also transferred far from the laneway. Finally far tensil cracks connected with shear cracks around the laneway, caused the laneway lose the stability.Simulation and analyzing the failure progress of laneway caused by lateral pressure,is help to choosing supporting mode and adjusting mining sequence.
