COMMERCIAL TRIAL ON HEAP LEACHING PROCESS FOR A PECIAL LOW-GRADE RED CLAY TYPE GOLD ORE

The conditions and result of a commercial trial of gold extraction from special low-grade red clay type ore by heap leaching process are reported. Commercial trial results show that gold can be recovered effectively form gold ore using heap leaching process. The process has advantages of high leaching rate and short leaching period, which greatly enhances the utilization factor of mineal resources and makes marked economic benefit.
