Abstract
In order to study mechanism of non-explosive demolition of rock, high-speed video camera was used and physical modeling test on damage process of concrete model under swelling of static crack agent was carried out. The results show that the two cracks in line under distension of static cracking agent are generated in cylinder concrete model containing one hole, while three cracks are produced in square concrete model with one hole. The crack propagation velocity and acceleration start rapidly to develop, then they decrease and at last they secondly increase again in the whole crack propagation process. The crack initiation, crack growth and crack instability present the evident processes. The results provide an experimental basis for the static cracking agent used in practical engineering.
