BOUNDARY ELEMENT MODEL OF JOINTED ROCK AND ITS APPLICATION

This paper presents an efficient method of modelling jointed rock by using the boundary ele-ment method via the concept of multiregion and non-linear model of joint and fault. An example of applica-tion of this methed to the analysis of stope roof collapse mechanism in Laochang Tin Mine is given.
