Abstract
Strategic environment assessment is an important link of sustainable development strategy from macroscopical and nonrepresentational concepts to actual and specific projects. It ensures institutionalization of integrated decision-making of environment and development. Applying environment impact assessment of land use planning make government's decision-makings be scientific. This paper introduces the main problems of overlapped areas of crop and mineral production, environment impact assessment of land use planning and the practical significance of accomplishment of environment impact assessment of land use planning in the area.
