STUDY ON MULTIPURPOSE UTILIZATION OF GIBBSITE IN CHINA

Gibbsite in South China has never been exploited and utilized,so it belongs to lying idle resource.The paper introduces a new technological process to treat gibbsite.The gibbsite is first dissolved.Filtrate obtained is then used to synthesize zeolite of different types such as 4A or 13x zeolite.The dregs of the solution can be treated in different ways.For instance,the iron content can be extracted,so the pollution of environment is avoided and the benefit of multipurpose utilization is obtained.
