Analysis on the approaches of utilization for industrial solid waste based on AHP

Abstract
With the rapid economic development, the problem of resource scarcity and environment pollution has increasingly become the bottleneck of affecting the society sustainable development. The circular economy concept has been constructed to build a resource-saving and environment-friendly society. It suggested that "waste" is "misplaced resources", waste recycling can promote the sustainable development of society. Thus, optimal selection of the resource utilization approaches for industrial solid waste is beneficial to improve the proportion of waste reutilization, economize resources and protect environment. In this paper, the Analytic Hierarchy Process has been employed to select best available measures for waste utilization. Combined with the indexes of economy, technology and environment, the related factors were processed qualitatively and semi-quantitatively through constructing the hierarchical structure E-T-E model of the dynamic optimized industrial solid waste resource, establishing judgment matrix, calculating weight, and testing consistency. In consequences, the decision-making analysis and evaluation on optimum schemes for industrial solid waste utilization approach is realized. The results summarized from abvoe-mentioned assessment method could be referred by government and environmental policies makers.
