STUDY & PRACTICE OF THE OPEN PIT BLASTING TECHIQUE

Based on the process and technical characteristics of steep working slope mining in Dagushan deep open pit, and studying and analysis about various actual problems occurring by blasting operation, this thesis gives a blasting design plan which is suitable to mining process with steep working slope and vertical strips and can solve practical producation problems properly, reduce the blasting operation effects on the mine production and iron ore dilution, raise the production efficiency and improve the overall economic profits of mine.
