    Study on flotation technology without fluorite to separate quartz from low-grade k-feldspar

    • Flotation technology without fluorite was studied to separate low-grade K-feldspar with quartz.It is shown in the results that qualified K-feldspar concentrate can be generated by grinding,desliming,one step rough and one step cleanfltation and high intensity Magnetic Separation process. The grinding finessness of -0.074mm fraction takes up 50%,the pH of pulp during floatation is about 4,and the dosage of oleylamine and petroleum sodium sulphonate is 800g/t and 1600g/t respectively. Feldspar concentrate obtained in the closed-circuir had a content of K2O and Na2O 12.55%, quartz concentrate with a yield of 19.94% containing 97.12% SiO2 was obtained in the same time.
